We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Administration Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This role is critical in providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our legal office. Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Document Management: Prepare, edit, and format legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and letters. Organise and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems.
Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
Calendaring: Manage diaries for legal staff, schedule meetings, and ensure deadlines are met.
Billing and Invoicing: Assist with preparing client invoices and tracking payments.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal procedures, confidentiality requirements, and firm policies.Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is advantageous.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Legal practice management software would be advantageous.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
