The successful candidate will contribute to extending the research profile of at Exeter, particularly in areas related or complementary to human movement science (biomechanics, performance analysis, and data analytics) as they apply to sports and exercise science.We are seeking applicants who are actively engaged in performance analysis and biomechanics within sport and health contexts, as well as data scientists who can demonstrate the application of advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modelling techniques to derive valuable insights from large-scale sports-related datasets.About youFor a Lecturer post you will have:

• A PhD or equivalent in field related to human movement and data science and have an independent, internationally-recognised research programme in a relevant active field of research.
• A strong record in attracting funding for research or demonstrate potential to attract such funding.
• An active approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research.
• Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Strong connections and funded projects with business and community partners.
• Involvement in projects which develop impact.
• Skills and expertise that complements and/or extends that of the existing research teams in
