The plant is located at our production facility in Kalundborg. This role involves implementing Lean principles and methodologies to optimize production processes, eliminate waste, and enhance overall operational performance. You will be a part of the global GO4Excellence community, supporting and framing the ways-of-working in Novonesis operations.Welcome to Enzyme Production EuropeEnzyme Production Europe handles all elements of enzyme production from raw materials into fermentation to final product out of the recovery and granulation plants. You’ll be working at Environmental Operation – our wastewater facility at site Kalundborg.The wastewater facility handles wastewater and production biomass from Novonesis and Novo Nordisk at the shared site in Kalundborg.We are currently executing a 2 billion kroner expanding project at the wastewater treatment plant to support new Novo Nordisk production facilities on site.The plant is operated by 50 employees working together with many stakeholders on site to secure production capacity and support Novonesis ambitious water and climate targets from focus on resource recovery and water saving.In this role you’ll make an impactMain activities will include anchoring & engaging metrics at the shop floor and drive systematical problem solving across the function. You will be a part of the leadership team with reference to the functional director and participate in the overall GO4Excellence community.Areas of responsibility will include:Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence together with the functional leadership teamsProviding guidance and supporting plant personnel on Lean practices and methodologiesTaking us to a higher maturity level within systematic problem solving.Lead and develop our factory metrics of the daily operations and supporting our strategic goals.Facilitating Lean workshops and training sessions for plant employeesIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction by analyzing production data and metricsCollaborating with cross-functional teamsTo succeed you must:Hold a bachelor/master’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.Have proven experience in anchoring and creating excitement about Lean manufacturing and process improvement.Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and influence the functional team.Application deadline:. 17/02/2025Contact details: For more information, please contact Dir.
