The company’s commitment to partnering with customers throughout the entire life cycle of their products is a testament to the Liebherr family’s values.About the Role:We are looking for a passionate and driven Lean & Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Customer Support division based in Perth. Reporting to the General Manager, Strategy and Compliance, this role will play a pivotal role in improving efficiency, standardisation, and innovation across our mining support operations in Australia.Working closely with internal divisions and operational teams, you will analyse workflows, identify process inefficiencies, implement improvement initiatives, and support a culture of continuous improvement across the business.Skills and Duties:In this highly influential role with an immediate start, you will:

• Lead cross-functional project teams through process analysis and optimisation
• Identify and lead process improvement projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise cost
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions that support efficiency, quality and safety

• Analyse performance data and produce reports, dashboards, and insights to guide decision-making

• Coach and mentor teams and engage with stakeholders to optimise customer satisfaction

Essential Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Process, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Stakeholder engagement, project leadership and negotiation skills
• Commercial acumen, strong analytical skills and experience with performance data reporting and visualisation tools
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Desirable Requirements:Ideally you will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in mining, manufacturing, logistics, or technology
• Demonstrated experience working for large, complex multinational organisations
• Demonstrated experience working within a continuous improvement framework
• Lean or Six Sigma qualifications
