Job description: Job Description:Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the worldWood is recruiting for a Lead Project Control Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible to execute the activities and processes associated with project controls in SFR Project. Apply and expand hands-on experience on all planning, risk management, cost control and reporting aspects for oil & gas industry. Responsible to update and monitor all EPC contractor performance and develop reports and solutions as required.
Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.Responsibilities:The Lead Project Control Engineer will be responsible:

• Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be applied for oil/gas projects during EPC phases of execution.

• He shall be experienced to develop / monitor all planning aspects in detail.

• His ability to evaluate contractor performance and issue all progress is corrected.

• Perform activities like preforming Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA) and Risk workshops.

• He shall be responsible to develop all reports required from the project team and attend all EPC contractors Weekly / Monthly meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

• 8+ years of experience in project control engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in managing large-scale projects in [industry/sector, e.g., oil & gas, construction].
