This role will support these efforts. Additionally, the role involves implementing security controls, maintaining security infrastructure, and performing first-level troubleshooting of security issues.As a Lead IT Security Specialist, you will also participate in day-to-day server administration and join the on-call rotation, which means, you will be involved in managing the physical data centers in Denmark.What you will be responsible for:

• Handle day-to-day IT operations and security tasks/tickets
• Continuously monitor traffic and system activities
• Regularly update and maintain security systems, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems and antivirus software
• Approach vulnerability issues and apply patches to maintain security in systems and applications
• Handle and manage our asset management process and tool

• Proficiency in using and managing security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions
• Good understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security principles
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents
• Skills in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine security tasks and improve efficiency
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation measures
• Keen ability to notice and investigate subtle anomalies or indicators of compromise
• Analytical skills to assess complex situations, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions
