Job description: This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Case writer to lead a team of 3 on some big cases in 2025. This is a Permanent opportunity that can be based in either Wellington or Auckland. This is a leadership position that will come with people management accountabilities.Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in leading teams in roles that require both people management and technical leadership
- Sound experience in establishing team rhythms that result in clear plans, quality delivery, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects within agreed timeframes.
- 7-10 years’ experience business analysis, business case, or project management experience ideally in a public sector setting
- Proven ability to translate highly technical information so it can be understood and considered by a range of stakeholders and decision makers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills, with a reputation for seeking win-win solutions
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Proven experience in using and applying Better Business Case, and Investment Logic Mapping methodologies
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and present it in a structured format.
- Modelling capability (desirable)
- Experience in developing information graphics and using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau to support understanding for decision (desirable)
