Job description: Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The Lead Architect is expected to be able to : Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the customer’s infrastructure related to its business processes of collection, analysis, production, and dissemination. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. Applies knowledge of enterprise IT or engineering needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensures that these are consistent with the customer’s enterprise technical architecture. May participate in business development activities. Long term development experience in a range of technologies C#, Python, Java, JavaScript Assessing current CTR Component usage model for core capabilities Leads and supports a team responsible for developing, coding, testing and debugging new highly complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity Contribute to code Parse customer requirements and develop a requirements traceability matrix Must be familiar with low level drivers such as ADC, PWM, GPIO, timer modules, SPI, SCI, LIN, CAN, SENT, DMA, external bus interfaces, memory management units, ECC, flash memory Conducts analysis of potential solutions Manage full life-cycle web projects of significant scope and budget, and of critical importance to the Company Develop a team capable of doing the same Serve as liaison with digital business efforts, customers and partners to understand their business needs, and deliver web solutions that meet those needs Required Qualifications Active Top-Secret Clearance with a CI Poly Licensing or Certifications for Lead Software Architect that may include certifications required by the position: such as CLSA, CCNA, ISTQB, ISEB, PMI, TOGAF, GWEB, GIAC, CSSLP, CSM BS, 12-15 years relevant experience; MS, 10-13 years relevant experience; PhD, 10+ years relevant experience Overview We are seeking a Lead Architect, Tech Requirements – Senior to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Lead Architect, Tech Requirements – Senior a pplies technical knowledge to assist clients in the design and development of solutions to complex technical engineering and applications problems, network challenges, or system administration issues. The Lead Architect, Tech Requirements – Senior is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software architecture for applications. They provide senior technical guidance, mentor development teams, and ensure alignment between the customer’s business goals and IT strategy.
