During peak milking season, Pahiatua processes up to 4 million litres of milk every day.About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūrangaWe have an opportunity for a talented and committed operator to join our high performing team on a permanent basis.Your self-motivation, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot will contribute to the high precision and stable running of our plant.Working on rostered shift pattern of four on and four off (2 days, 2 nights and four off) this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career and be part of a highly motivated and supportive team.As an operator, you’ll be working in a control room or on the factory floor where your key responsibilities may include:

• Setting up, checking, and running automated production machinery
• Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards
• Running machine diagnostics and problem solving
• Ensuring documentation is correct and complete

About you | MōuYour strong mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly; you won’t just find the problem, you’ll be part of finding and implementing the solution.Together with a good work ethic and a strong focus on health and safety, you’ll be able to show a background of:

• Proven reliability as a team member
• Participating and contributing to a high performing team
• Strong computer literacy
• Strong focus on documentation and compliance
• Food manufacturing experience (advantageous)
