Job description: Job DescriptionJob Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with our top retail partners while driving expansion into new channels. This role is 80% focused on managing existing key accounts (e.g., Rustans, SM, National Bookstore) and 20% dedicated to business development for untapped markets. The ideal candidate will balance account retention, sales growth, and strategic prospecting to strengthen our presence in the travel accessories industry.Key Responsibilities:1. Account Management (80%)Manage and nurture relationships with key retail partners, including Rustans, SM, National Bookstore, and other major accounts.Drive sales growth by optimizing product visibility, promotions, and inventory levels across partner stores.Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.Collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams to ensure timely product delivery, merchandising support, and campaign execution.Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights for account growth.Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and retention rates.2. Business Development (20%)Identify and pursue new sales channels (e.g., e-commerce platforms, specialty retailers, corporate clients) to expand market reach.Develop proposals and pitch strategies to onboard new partners, aligning with company goals.Research emerging trends and competitor activity to uncover untapped opportunities in the travel accessories sector.Build a pipeline of potential clients and negotiate contracts to secure profitable partnerships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new accounts.Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years in key account management, preferably in retail, consumer goods, or travel accessories.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account portfolios.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for identifying new business opportunities.Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
