Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing exceptional service and support to meet and exceed customer expectations.Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts, as well as target new potential key accounts. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans, and participate in business development initiatives to expand our market share.Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with key accounts, ensuring that all agreements are aligned with our company’s strategic objectives and financial targets. Work closely with the legal and finance teams to review and finalize contracts, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze account performance metrics, such as revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and service levels. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues or challenges.Cross – Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal departments, including operations, finance, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of account – related activities and to leverage our company’s resources effectively.Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify potential risks and opportunities for our key accounts, and to inform our overall business strategy.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, and ensure that the team is aligned with our company’s values and objectives.skills and experience required.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in a key account management or business development role within the contract logistics industry. Proven success in managing and growing key accounts, and a strong track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively manage contract negotiations and secure favorable terms for our company.Strategic thinking and problem – solving abilities, with the ability to develop and implement account – specific strategies to drive growth and improve performance.Strong analytical and data – driven decision – making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights to inform business decisions.Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high – performing team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
