Responsibilities

  • Unpack and install various computer hardware across multiple operational areas within the airport.
  • Perform imaging and configuration tasks on workstations as per project specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing on all installed equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Manage the physical setup of systems, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Adhere to all project timelines, with flexibility for schedule adjustments as communicated.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area throughout the duration of the project.
  • Collaborate effectively with the on-site supervisor and team members to meet project goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven technical experience, ideally with at least 1 year in computer configuration and setup.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and support systems, ideally with an IT educational background.
  • Physical ability to move and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as required by the job.
  • Availability to work onsite at Edmonton Airport during regular daytime business hours.
  • Ability to work independently without the need for interaction with end users.
