Job description: Job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic scrum Master to oversee software development projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. You will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals, managing resources, risks, and ensuring clear communication across all channels.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management of software development projects, from initial planning through to final delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures to track project progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution of projects.
- Monitor and manage project risks, changes, and dependencies, ensuring all potential issues are addressed proactively.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
- Ensure projects meet technical, quality, and compliance requirements while maintaining client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, allocating resources efficiently to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between development, design, quality assurance, and business teams.
- Analyze project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to foresee and address challenges effectively.
- Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage project financials and resources efficiently.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in project management within a software house or related industry.
- Experience in Agile and/or Scrum project management frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
