Job description: Our client is one the biggest insurer in Hong Kong. They are looking for an experience IT Project Planning Manager for their team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the development, implementation, and updating of the IT strategy, plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with both local Business Unit and Group strategic objectives, while adhering to industry best practices.Aid in the development, implementation, and updating of IT governance processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with both internal (Audit and Risk) and external standards with HKIASupport the review, design, development, and implementation of IT systems to ensure alignment with business strategy, emphasizing standardization and consolidation to enhance efficiency.Assist in the creation and review of the IT budget in alignment with business strategy and manage IT procurement processes.Develop procedures and toolkits to facilitate the assessment and continual improvement of audit outcomes, including managing rectifications and implementing preventative measures across all relevant systems.Establish procedures and toolkits to enhance risk management and assessment activities, including oversight of rectifications and the application of precautionary measures to relevant systems.Create procedures and toolkits to improve IT risk management and assessment outcomes, managing rectifications and applying necessary preventative measures for all applicable systems.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related IT disciplines.At least 7 years of experience in IT roles within the financial sector (preferably in the insurance industry), focusing on delivering enterprise systems and IT management, with expertise in IT planning, governance, audit and risk management, budgeting, and procurement.Demonstrated success in IT planning and governance, along with a solid understanding of application system implementation and methodologies.Extensive experience in developing and managing IT governance and planning, policies and procedures, budgeting and procurement, as well as audit, risk management, and security assessment tracking.Ability to adapt to changing priorities with ease.In-depth knowledge of the insurance business.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.Excellent managerial, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with relevant business units, back-office teams, and various IT departments.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
