In over 30 years on the market, we have grown to become a key partner focused on complex logistics solutions but also providing transport & storage solutions, distribution logistics, outsourcing solutions, FMCG sale and value-added services.We are growing and continually investing in the development and modernization of our services, fleet, IT infrastructure…We are looking for IT/IS Manager with strong leadership and organization skills to take responsibility for two key areas:1) Management of two teams of 18 people:

• L1/L2 Support – 4 people (user, workstation, mobile, MS office, printers…)
• Technology – 14 people, internal FTE + external partners (implementation and operational support for internal systems – ERP, warehouse management systems, transport management system)

2) Driving the key program initiatives and oversight of smooth progress and implementation of current and future projects delivered by third-party suppliersMain tasks and responsibilities:

• Leading teams of IT support department and Technology department. Overseeing all activities and tasks handled by entrusted departments.
• Leadership, motivation, development and evaluation of team members.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related activities of the company.
• Management of IT external partners, services suppliers and implementation of new software.
• Management of cost, cost efficiency.
• Cooperation in creation of RFQs/RFPs.
• IT and personnel audit of entrusted departments.
• Activities leading to increase efficiency/performance of entrusted departments.
• Further development and application of company´s IT policies (i.a. IT security), regulations.
• After successful adaptation and takeover of local activities, the candidate will also take responsibility of our branches in Slovakia and Poland

Your profile:

• Proven previous successful managerial experience. Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• General IT knowledge and “helicopter view” of IT operations.
• Upper-intermediate English, Czech (or Slovak) is a must-have.
• Past experience from a logistics/transportation company or similar could be an advantage but is not mandatory.
• Some project/program management experience is also welcomed but not mandatory.
• The successful candidate should have experience or understanding of at least some of the following topics and technologies: MS Dynamics 365 ERP; WMS/TMS; On-prem =

cloud migrations & virtualization (Azure); API + EDI data exchange and integration; SW migrationsWe offer:
