Job description: Role – IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Lead Job Location – KL Job Type – Permanent Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management Design, manage, and optimize physical and virtual server infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V). Oversee Microsoft Windows Server environments (2008-2019), including Active Directory, DNS, GPO, IIS, and SSL Certificate management. Administer enterprise storage systems and backups (Veeam, BackupExec) with defined retention policies. Lead Windows Server upgrades, migration projects, and infrastructure capacity planning. Support Microsoft365 environment including SharePoint, Azure AD, Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive. Maintain server room facilities and infrastructure health (UPS, fire safety, cooling systems). Cybersecurity Leadership Drive the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and best practices. Oversee firewall, VPN, endpoint protection, antivirus (e.g., Trend Micro), and network security tools. Monitor threats and respond to incidents, ensuring system integrity and data protection. Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and serve as a focal point for compliance matters. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate security into projects and daily operations. Network Administration Administer LAN/WAN configurations, Wi-Fi controllers, load balancers, and routers/switches. Optimize network performance and redundancy through structured network planning. Ensure high availability (HA), secure configurations, and incident response readiness. Operations & Support Provide Level 3 escalation support for EUC (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, conferencing tech). Monitor infrastructure health via tools such as PRTG, escalating abnormalities proactively. Maintain detailed IT asset inventory, license management, procurement tracking, and vendor liaison. Document and maintain SOPs, policies, technical guides, and training materials. Collaboration & Governance Partner with application teams and business units to deliver technology solutions aligned with organizational needs. Fulfill compliance requirements including audits, risk registers, and internal procurement documentation. Guide junior team members on infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Key Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field. Around 8-10 years of hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, backups, etc.). Good working knowledge of Microsoft environments, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and enterprise networks. Familiar with cybersecurity practices, such as firewall, antivirus, data protection, or security policy implementation. Comfortable working with tools like Active Directory, Microsoft365, and backup systems. Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity frameworks and tools is a plus. Experience with SQL or Linux/Unix environments would be an added advantage. Strong troubleshooting skills, a team player, and able to work across departments when needed. Expected salary: 8000 – 10000 per month
