What is the role?Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Member, IT Business and Vendor Management.The Team Member role is part of the IT Business and Vendor Management Team, within the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Command. This position supports procurement and contract management activities for systems, networks, technologies and resourcing that underpin the enterprise capabilities of the organisation. The CIO Command is responsible for delivering end to end solutions, advice and infrastructure critical to AFP operations.We are seeking highly motivated and organised individuals who are able to work effectively under limited direction to deliver efficiencies, achieve value for money, reduce risk and maximise effectiveness of contracts in support of AFP operations and activities, through their procurement and/or contract management expertise. This role has a focus on developing, leading and overseeing compliant and innovative procurements to provide better contracting outcomes and/or managing contracts and vendor relationships, to ensure compliance and protect the interests of the AFP.You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments.
