This critical function encompasses a broad range of hardware assets, including end-user computing devices (laptops, desktops, monitors, and video conferencing systems), core infrastructure components (network switches, routers, and servers), and peripheral or auxiliary systems (printers, and other ELV devices). We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT professional with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across different time zones. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accountability and transparency in a fast-paced, global environment.Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate, real-time inventory of all IT hardware assets including high-end equipment such as servers, storage systems, network gear, and end-user computing devices, printers, and security devices.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and regional IT teams to manage the entire asset lifecycle from requisition to retirement.
• Ensure compliance with Afiniti’s IT asset policies and standards, including regular audits, asset tagging, and reconciliation.
• Liaise with global stakeholders and regional teams to align asset tracking, usage monitoring, and reporting practices.
• Monitor and manage the IT Asset Management Tool with the ability to extract, visualize, and analyze data for insights and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SolarWinds, NetSuite, and JIRA for ticketing, asset tracking, and dashboard/report creation.
• Lead initiatives to automate asset tracking and reporting, and implement dynamic dashboards for performance and KPI monitoring.
• Support internal controls and audit processes related to IT hardware inventory, licensing, and warranty tracking.
• Propose and implement improvements to asset management processes to enhance accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT teams to ensure all assets are properly secured and compliant with organizational standards.
• Provide timely and clear communication to global stakeholders about asset availability, allocation, and usage.
• Coordinate physical verification and stock audits periodically across multiple global locations. .
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and records related to asset allocation, ownership, and decommissioning.
• Participate in onboarding and knowledge transfer with departmental leads to ensure seamless continuity of operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management or IT Operations.
• Proven experience with asset management tools such as SolarWinds, NetSuite, Jira, ServiceNow.
• Exposure to global organizations and working with geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware components across end-user and enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and inconsistencies in IT asset data and take corrective actions.
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities, with attention to detail and process compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automation of operational processes and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, ServiceNow, JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills using Excel, Word, MS Project and related tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and diligently with a commitment to operational excellence.
