Job description: Description We are seeking an experienced ISM Coordinator & Administrative Manager (Maritime Regulation) to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime safety management, regulatory compliance, and administrative coordination. This role involves ensuring that our operations adhere to the ISM Code and other maritime regulations, while also managing documentation and facilitating training programs for staff. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the implementation of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code across maritime operations. Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards as set by local and international authorities. Conduct regular audits and assessments of safety management systems to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain documentation related to safety management and administrative processes. Facilitate training and awareness programs for staff regarding ISM Code and safety protocols. Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures. Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience (5-10 years) in maritime administration or safety management roles. Strong knowledge of the ISM Code and maritime safety regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and preferably in a Southeast Asian language. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Expected salary: 40000 – 50000 per month
