Salary is DOE: €50,000 – €65,000You will work as part a small nit payroll team of three responsible for payroll for IRL, UK and EMEA whilst liaising with the company’s payroll providers This role requires strong technical payroll knowledge and a passion for providing a world class payroll service to employees.Core areas of responsibility:
- Ensure that payroll is processed and paid for more than 600 employees across several entities in Ireland and branches in the UK and Germany on a monthly basis
- Ensure that all monthly and annual tax, pension and compliance requirements are met
- Maintain all static detail in the HRIS system to ensure that indirect overhead allocations are efficiently and accurately generated and that regulatory reporting requirements can be met
- Prepare and post all payroll related journals and accruals and perform all Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ensure sufficient controls are in place and are implemented to capture monthly changes and that any differences are reconciled and explained
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external auditors
- Create and maintain control documentation, process flows and procedures
- Drive efficiencies and process improvements
- Work with the CFO and external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for any expatriate employees
Person Spec and qualifications:
- IPASS or Accounting Qualification desirable
- Minimum of 3-6 years payroll experience with a large organisation is essential
- Strong Knowledge or IRL payroll, ideally UK payroll knowledge and EMEA and OR APAC is advantageous
- Experience dealing with complex Irish and UK payrolls in a deadline driven environment highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and work with large volumes of data
- Proven focus on continuous improvement
- Deadline driven and results focused
- Strong and confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
Expected salary: €50000 – 65000 per year
