Job description: Job Title: Admission OfficerDepartment: SalesLocation: PAN IndiaExperience Required: 2-7 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeWeekly Off: RotationalRole Summary:The Admission Officer plays a crucial role in driving student enrollments through targeted marketing initiatives, counseling sessions, and relationship-building efforts with schools, students, and parents. This position requires a proactive and customer-focused professional with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation & Marketing Outreach:- Conduct marketing activities including school seminars, community events, and residential outreach to create awareness and generate leads.- Coordinate with school authorities (principals, coordinators) to organize and participate in promotional events.Student Counseling & Conversion:- Visit student homes for personalized counseling sessions aimed at addressing academic and career aspirations.- Counsel students and parents effectively to convert leads into confirmed enrollments.Community Engagement:- Establish strong connections with local tuition centers and educators to widen the outreach.Process Adherence:- Ensure compliance with organizational processes and documentation requirements.- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree required- Preferred: MBA/BTech/Master’s in Psychology, Education, or related fieldsSkills & Competencies:- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages- Proven ability in customer relationship management and sales persuasion- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with sales/customer service software- Comfort with public speaking, event coordination, and frequent travelExperience:- Prior experience in educational counseling or career guidance- Background in B2C sales across any industry will be considered an assetDesired Attributes:- Customer-first mindset- High sense of ownership and accountability- Goal-oriented with a focus on results- Team player with strong emotional intelligenceKey Stakeholders:- External: Students, Parents, School Administrators, Local Educators, Event Partners- Internal: Academic Teams, Student Support Services, Sales & Operations Staff (ref:updazz.com)
