Job description: London – £180,000 – £240,000 A leading Corporate U.S law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious associate with 2-5 years PQE to join their dynamic Intellectual Property, Technology, and Data group. This is a rare chance to work on high-profile, cross-border matters at the forefront of legal innovation.This practice handles some of the most cutting-edge and complex IP and technology transactions globally, including:

• AI and technology advisory for multinational corporations.
• IP licensing in the music, entertainment, and luxury sectors.
• Regulatory and compliance advice on AI, data protection, and cybersecurity.
• High-value M&A, joint ventures, and strategic collaborations.

You’ll work alongside a highly regarded team on cross-border matters across industries such as life sciences, technology, financial services, and consumer goods. The role involves supervising junior lawyers and trainees, contributing to business development, and growing your leadership capabilities.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• At least three years in a top-tier transactional IP/IT practice
• Strong focus on IP and technology transactions, including IP licensing and commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies, including advisory work on AI regulation and digital services.
• Hands-on experience with GDPR/UK DPA compliance.
• A stellar academic background.
• Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and eager to mentor junior lawyers.
• A commercial outlook, excellent client management skills, and the ability to thrive in a collegiate team environment.
