Your mission is to send error free invoices, safeguard target margins, and produce actionable forecasts that help leadership and client facing teams stay ahead of the curve.Mission (Why this role exists)Ensure every client invoice is accurate, timely, and profitable while producing forward-looking financial forecasts that empower leadership to make smart, data driven decisions.Top Outcomes (What success looks like)100?% of recurring invoices sent by the 15 of the month with ??2?% error rate.
Vendor bill reconciliation completed by the 15 business day; all quantity, license type, and price discrepancies resolved or escalated.
Gross margin targets met or exceeded each month; variances ??2?pp identified,root caused, and corrective actions proposed within 3?business days.
??95?% of active clients on autopay by year end; all past due clients contacted within 24?hours of aging trigger and brought current within 10?days.
Rolling 12month revenue & labor forecast published weekly, incorporating onboarding/offboarding schedules, professional services inputs, and sales pipeline.
Two+ manual tasks automated or significantly streamlined each quarter with documented SOPs in our knowledge base.

What a Strong Candidate BringsFinancial & Accounting Expertise – 3?+?years in billing, revenue operations, or FP&A for a SaaS, MSP, or tech enabled services company; comfort with accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and subscription metrics (MRR, churn, ARPU).
Margin Mindset – proven track record reconciling vendor charges, aligning costs to contracts, and protecting target margins.
Analytical & Forecasting Skill – advanced spreadsheet modeling, pivotable fluency, and familiarity with forecasting methodologies used in accounting (run rate, driver basedd, scenario analysis).
Automation Savvy – hands-on wins using formulas, macros, API connectors, or low code platforms to streamline finance workflows.
Flawless Communication – clear, concise English writing; confident phone presence with U.S. accountants and firm owners.

Nice to Have: experience with Power?BI or Make experience; exposure to U.S. GAAP sales tax rules for services; prior work inside an accounting firm or MSP.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and send monthly recurring invoices; attach item level detail to meetaccounting firm documentation standards.
Reconcile vendor bills for Microsoft?365, cloud hosting, security, and niche accounting App licenses against PSA/RMM usage reports.
Track service line gross margins; investigate low margin trends, suggest pricing or efficiency changes, and collaborate with Client Success & Service Desk leads on remediation plans.
Own A/R and collections: phone and email outreach, payment plan setup, accounts receivable reporting, and continual autopay enrollment.
Gather labor plans from team leads, sales forecasts and onboarding/offboarding schedules from other teams to update your forecast model.
Build and refine forecasting tools (Excel/Google Sheets, Power?BI, or similar) that highlight variance drivers and pattern shifts.
Document and continually improve SOPs; design automations with Zapier, Make, Power?Automate, or light scripting to eliminate repetitive work.
Required Experience & Skills3+?years in billing, invoicing, finance, or revenue operations for a SaaS, MSP, or tech services company.
Hands-on experience reconciling vendor bills and managing subscription/licensing models.
Advanced spreadsheet skills (lookups, pivots, what if analysis).
Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.
Proven success owning A/R collections and improving DSO.
Demonstrated process automation wins (scripts, macros, Zapier, etc.).
