Job description: The main purposes of this specific role are to:oValidate patient records and invoices from external health care sources to ensure that they relate to the relevant location and provide analysis on the data quality of information being used to support this.oUndertake the validation of all provider patient level activity data to support the monthly financial process.oProcess datasets to produce information that supports the management of CHC contracts.In addition, the post holder will be:oHighly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can provide effective administrative services: including for example, the preparation of papers and briefings, taking appropriate follow-up action as requiredoSupporting the team with the management of patient management systems, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary for the deputy head of department, teams and the department.Main duties of the joboTo review, crosscheck systems to and validate data from external sources in support of patient records and invoices received to ensure database integrity and qualityoTo deliver an effective and competent level of CHC system analysis to ensure comprehensive validation of patient records. To manage and update patient records accurately and ensure the patient pathway is accurately recorded.oTo prepare reports to senior management teams on the validity of activity with contracts, patient records and invoicesoUse and update bespoke databases and checking procedures to ensure that information is up to date and accurate.   • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.

Knowledge and ExperienceEssential

  • Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the senior management and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.

  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to staff, customers and service users
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task
