You’ll be the face of our organisation, using your excellent communication, high level of initiative and sound decision-making skills to deliver outcomes. Your primary role will be to investigate allegations of fraud whilst contributing to the development of local initiatives to deter and detect fraud.What you’ll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitūSkills and Experiences I He pūkenga tōuTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to interpret and apply appropriate policy and legislation
- Organisational skills, including caseload management
- Risk awareness
- The ability to network within the Ministry and with outside agencies and the community
The following experience would be of significant advantage:
- Experience in a compliance role involving investigation and prosecution of offences, including the PEACE model of evidential interviewing.
- A working knowledge of Work and Income products
You will need to be self-motivated, well organised and have a commitment to achieving personal and team goals while operating with the highest of ethical and professional standards.A full New Zealand driver’s licence and a willingness to travel to fulfil work requirements are essential.
