Job description: Investigation OfficerThe roleAre you passionate about safeguarding public trust and maintaining the highest standards in healthcare?If so, you may be interested in becoming an essential part of our large but close-knit, investigation team of over 100 investigation officers, support staff and leaders.We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Investigation Officers to join our team of case owners who review and monitor the practise of doctors, physician associates (PAs)and anaesthesia associates (AAs.) This crucial role helps protect the health and well-being of the public by investigating concerns related to medical professionals and ensuring that standards are upheld across the UK. Their work directly influences whether regulatory or disciplinary action is necessary as well as monitoring the outcome of that action when needed.Our Investigation Officers work across a range of responsibilities, including:
- Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct by healthcare professionals.
- Collecting and evaluating information received and recommending a course of action.
- Reviewing the progress of practitioners who have had action taken against their registration.
We are looking for people to fill several roles who will offer unwavering attention to detail, professionalism, and compassion towards all involved in fitness to practise.The roles are based in Manchester with a minimum of two days in the office per month.
