Management of stock and inventory within the context of vehicle sales. Ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantity.Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing vehicles
Monitor stock levels regularly and initiate procurement or reordering of vehicles to prevent stockouts.
Analyze sales trends, market demand, and customer preferences to anticipate future inventory needs and make informed purchasing decisions.
Inspect incoming vehicles for quality and accuracy, ensuring that products meet the required standards and specifications.
Utilize inventory management software to track and record inventory movements, including deliveries, shipments, and returns.
Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer demands and align inventory levels accordingly to meet customer requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of inventory-related transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documents.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies, providing insights and recommendations for improving inventory management.
Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory, reduce carrying costs, and optimize inventory turnover to maximize profitability.Job Requirements
QualificationsBachelor\’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
ExperienceMin of 5 Years of experience in a similar role in the dealership.Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the automotive or commercial vehicles industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
