Empowerment: Takes ownership and accountability.Position OverviewThis is a long-term, remote role (part-time to start, with potential for full-time) for someone who thrives on precision, process improvement, and making systems better.You’ll work closely with our U.S.-based team to:
Oversee inventory processes across Shopify, Amazon, and eBay
Migrate us to a new centralized inventory platform
Maintain accurate, optimized listings
Solve problems and help the team stay organizedResponsibilitiesInventory Management (Top Priority)
Own all inventory data across platforms (Shopify/BigCommerce, Amazon, eBay)
Maintain and improve Excel-based tracking while transitioning to new software (e.g., inFlow, Zoho, Finale)
Reconcile inventory with warehouse staff and ensure data accuracy
Prevent stockouts and overstocking through reporting and alertseCommerce ListingsMaintain accurate and SEO-friendly product listings
Identify and fix listing issues, suppressions, or errors (especially on Amazon)
Help implement promotions and bundle offers
Monitor and adjust prices as neededOperational SupportRespond to customer service inquiries (email/chat)
Collaborate with the team to document processes
Occasionally support content scheduling or researchRequired Skills & Experience5+ years experience in inventory management and/or eCommerce operations
Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, formulas
Familiar with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify/BigCommerce
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems
Can follow complex instructions and document custom processesNice-to-Haves (Not Required)Experience implementing inventory platforms
Interest in AI tools or automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Excel macros, scripts)
Love for music or pianosWork Schedule & CompensationPart-time: ~20 hours/week to start; potential to grow into full-time
Flexible work hours (must be responsive and meet deadlines)
Starting Rate: USD $6.00-$8.00/hour, depending on skills and experience
