When will I work?The primary work hours for this position are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am to 2:30pm on Friday.Where is this opportunity located?Position located in Ennistymon Co. Clare, Ireland in our International Manufacturing department.What will the work look like for me?
- Learn Daktronics products, systems, processes, and flow through Daktronics.
- Pull parts to fill work orders. Handle inventory, count discrepancies. Flexibility to work in all manufacturing departments.
- Must learn and be able to train employees in all Inventory tasks including Work Order and pulling, Data Entry, Bulk Staging, and other tasks and procedures.
- Safely and responsibly use tools and safe lifting practices.
- Correctly follow written instructions. Accurately record work done.
- Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner, including repetitive tasks. Quickly learn new tasks and accurately perform these tasks as assigned.
- Work effectively as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed, make suggestions for process and product improvement, and communicate effectively with team members. Be at work on time and maintain good attendance, follow company guidelines and policies.
- Perform other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:To be considered for Inventory Clerk, we require the following:
- Leaving Cert Required.
- Keyboard skills required. Prefer experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Cognos, and/or Glovia ERP system.
- Accuracy with numbers.
- Required to work overtime when overtime shifts are scheduled.
- Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and successfully participate as a member of a team.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, and electrostatic discharge wear. You will be provided the PPE for the required areas.
- Physical requirements include the ability to:
- Work in an environment with these types of smells: paint, solvent, and solder.
- Frequently lift 35 lbs. Occasionally to frequently lift 45 lbs., in some work areas.
- Stand for the full shift with planned breaks. The duration of standing between breaks varies from 2-3 ½ hours depending on work area.
- Work from heights, including working from ladders and platforms.
- Reach in all directions (up, down, side-to-side, and diagonal reaching), including some awkward reaching to insert components in difficult to reach sections of the product.
- Maintain steady hand/eye coordination.
- Identify wire and paint colors.
- Read fine print.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland at time of hire.
Desired traits:
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, or materials management.
- The understanding of materials flow in a manufacturing environment.
