We manage Transpower’s warehouses facilities, track and monitor stock levels, and work closely with people across the business to forward plan demand and coordinate the correct inventory holdings to ensure timely delivery, supporting everything from planned grid upgrades to urgent repairs.About the opportunity – a newly created role!As our new Inventory Analyst, you’ll take ownership of a complex, high-value inventory portfolio with a focus on accuracy, forecasting, and continuous improvement. You’ll spend a significant part of your time working with inventory data, supporting the delivery of major projects, and identifying opportunities to optimise stock levels and reduce costs.You’ll also define and track performance metrics to help us stay customer-focused and efficient. This role involves working closely with Senior Category Managers, Grid Delivery project teams, and other parts of the business, turning data into practical insights that improve day-to-day operations, strengthen forward forecasting, and support Transpower’s strategic improvement initiatives.About youYou’re adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with complexity. You enjoy working with large datasets and systems, and you’re confident navigating change.
