HireForce is proud to partner with a leading US-headquartered PLC with a truly global footprint. They are seeking an International Tax Director to join their high-calibre tax team based in Dublin. This is a senior leadership role with global scope and strategic influence.
As International Tax Director, you will take ownership of the worldwide income tax provision under U.S. GAAP and oversee global cash tax monitoring. You will collaborate closely with business units, financial reporting, forecasting, and SEC reporting teams to align tax accounting with business and financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of the global income tax provision and related tax financial disclosures.
• Evaluate and document worldwide uncertain tax positions in line with FIN 48; work with global finance teams and manage third-party tax opinions as needed.
• Monitor global cash taxes and analyze key tax drivers in partnership with local finance teams.
• Prepare technical memos and tax accounting position papers.
• Serve as a key liaison between the tax function and internal stakeholders, including FP&A and SEC Reporting.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency of the tax provision cycle.
• Design and deliver OneSource tax software training to global users.
• Provide input on the tax accounting implications of international and domestic transactions, including M&A activity.

Candidate Profile

• CAT Qualified Accountant, with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Significant experience in U.S. GAAP income tax accounting.
• Proven track record of managing teams and complex tax processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with OneSource or similar tax provision software is a plus.
