We’re seeking an International Network Coordinator – Freight Forwarding Specialist to help drive our mission and lead the next phase of our international logistics journey. This is a unique opportunity to:

• Lead International Operations: Be at the forefront of bringing our global freight forwarding capabilities in-house.
• Build Global Partnerships: Shape and manage relationships with international partners and suppliers.
• Make a Tangible Impact: Ensure critical medical shipments reach their destination on time, every time-directly impacting patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Champion Our Mission: Become a subject matter expert in international healthcare logistics and represent Smartways on the global stage.
• Orchestrate End-to-End Shipments: Coordinate import and export of time-critical medical supplies, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance.
• Drive Innovation: Identify and onboard alternative logistics providers to optimise our network.
• Facilitate Smooth Transitions: Lead the shift from outsourced to in-house international freight operations.
• Engage Stakeholders: Maintain clear communication across all links in the supply chain, both internally and externally.

What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years’ experience in international freight forwarding (import and export).
• Strong working knowledge of the ICS platform and Australian customs processes.
• Proficiency with CargoWise EDI and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal.
• Experience coordinating with international partners and suppliers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
