Job description: How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Reporting to the Head of International Mobility CoE, Americas, this position is part of a dynamic team of professionals specializing in employee Mobility support. This position serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for our employees undertaking expatriate assignments across the Americas. This role manages the end-to-end expatriate lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our international assignees and their families. The International Mobility Specialist is a key partner to HR Business Partners, Group International Mobility team and the International Mobility BSC team, providing strategic guidance and operational excellence in all aspects of international mobility.Be the Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the dedicated expert and main point of contact for employees throughout their expatriate assignment lifecycle within the Americas region (North, Central, and South America).End-to-End Expatriate Process Management: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the expatriate process, including contract negotiations, relocation, immigration, payroll coordination, tax support liaison, bonus and merit cycles, repatriation, and assignment extensions.Policy Application and Guidance: Interpret and apply the company’s international mobility policy, ensuring consistent and compliant execution across all assignments. Provide clear guidance to employees and stakeholders on policy interpretation and exceptions.Vendor Management: Liaise with relocation vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Group International Mobility to understand business needs and provide strategic and operational support for international assignments.Relocation Support: Coordinate all aspects of the relocation process, including household goods shipment, temporary and permanent housing assistance, school search, and settling-in services.Repatriation and Assignment Endings: Manage the repatriation process, including relocation back to the home country or transition to a new assignment, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and tax requirements related to international assignments within the Americas. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international mobility.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve international mobility processes to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and cost-effectiveness.Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international assignments and generate relevant reports as needed.Are you a MATCH?Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, International Business, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in international mobility, with a strong focus on expatriate assignments.Knowledge of international mobility policies, practices, and trends.Proven experience managing the end-to-end expatriate lifecycle.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and at all levels in the organization.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Experience with Workday is a plus.English proficiency is required, knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus.Our Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
