As a regional expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment plans to grow effective recruitment channels, student applications and enrolments in key markets including the Middle East & South Asia. You will also support transnational education and student mobility as required.Whilst we remain firmly committed to our regional community, we are determined to deliver against ambitious international strategic priorities, the major objective of this exciting opportunity.You will play a critical role, contributing to the development of strategic and operational plans, managing agents and key partners to support international student recruitment targets and raising brand awareness.You will build key relationships with education agencies, identifying opportunities that will aid with the growth and diversification of the international student population at the University of Auckland while meeting University targets, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends.   • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in international student recruitment, business development, and stakeholder engagement, consistently achieving agreed-upon outcomes.
  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting is essential, as the role will require extensive reporting on market trends and student recruitment data.
  • As an experienced professional in international education with excellent problem-solving skills, you bring a results-driven, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to your work.
  • You should have a background in international student recruitment within a tertiary education context, with experience in achieving targets, collaborate with academic staff to promote study programs, or a strong understanding of the international student market.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with key external stakeholders including agents, government and sponsorship bodies, institutional partners, and other organisations.
  • You will represent the University internationally with professionalism. Proactivity, energy, and efficiency are essential, along with the ability to inspire confidence and respect when working effectively with diverse groups of and cultures.
