Job description: Job Description Summary The International Ethics, Risk and Compliance (ERC) Operations Director, plays a pivotal role in representing International ERC on Corporate ERC projects and initiatives and ensures that the needs of countries and businesses are reflected in our Corporate ERC Program. In this role you will lead and contribute to ERC Operational Excellence initiatives across International, in close collaboration with Corporate ERC, IERCLT and Country ERC Organization.You will demonstrate an “enterprise mindset” by pro-actively identifying simplification & standardization opportunities related to ERC processes and in driving a culture of sharing “learnings” and “best practices” across International.
#LI-HybridJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Represent International organization unit on Corporate ERC initiatives and projects, ensuring needs of countries and businesses are clearly reflected in the Corporate ERC program. Coordinate and support implementation of any new global policy, process or system impacting ERC process or risk area.Proactively identify and drive impactful simplification initiatives relating to ERC processes and based on ERC assurance trends, in collaboration with Risk & Assurance Region teams.Design and lead Operational Excellence forums within International, for seeking input, exchange on operational excellence topics in support to corporate wide initiatives, promoting best practices and learnings, calling out & addressing redundancies, inefficiencies and fragmentation of approaches.Create meaningful relationships and strong collaboration with key stakeholders –e.g., Region ERC Heads, Region Operations Head, Corporate ERC (Policy), Internal Audit etc.Ensuring work focuses on driving impactful change and prioritizing material risk managementWork collaboratively with Corporate, Regions, Country ERC teams with One ERC Mindset.Acting as key stakeholder and coordinator for International markets, in collaboration with Transparency Head and external teams providing support.Stay abreast of business, functional and local priorities, emerging internal and external trends and risks, and good practices and ensuring impactful enhancements and ERC operationsEssential Requirements:University degree in related areaPreferred 8-10 years of top tier consulting experience or Ethics, Risk & Compliance (ERC) leadership in pharmaceutical, device or healthcare industries with relevant exposure to ERC function or related components preferredProven ability to lead global initiatives, complex projects, influence without authority and collaborate within and across cross-functional teams and business units, in a matrixed environmentGood understanding of the operations within a pharmaceutical company, including regulatory environment within which we operate.​Strong understanding of operational processes and systems impacting ERC processes.​Knowledge of healthcare industry, incl. industry codes and standardsProven experience is risk management in order to develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies within the policy framework.Professional level of English, both written & spokenYou’ll receiveMonthly pension contribution matching your individual contribution up to 3% of your gross monthly base salary; Risk Life Insurance (full cost covered by Novartis); 5-week holiday per year; (1 week above the Labour Law requirement) ; 4 paid sick days within one calendar year in case of absence due to sickness without a medical sickness report; Cafeteria employee benefit program – choice of benefits from Benefit Plus Cafeteria in the amount of 17,500 CZK per year; Meal vouchers in amount of 105 CZK for each working day (full tax covered by company); Public Transportation allowance; MultiSport Card, Employee Share Purchase Plan.
