Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityThe pivotal role will have a managerial focus on strategy, collaboration, leadership, and performance analysis, ensuring that it not only drives results but also continuously optimises and improves the entire conversion process.Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement ongoing strategies to optimise the conversion of applicants to enrolled students, ensuring a smooth transition through the admissions process.
  • Focus on building strong relationships with prospective students, offering personalised guidance and assistance throughout the admission process to drive conversions.
  • Use data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and conversion strategies, ensuring data-driven decisions are made to continually improve
  • Work closely with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure alignment of strategies and messaging, fostering a seamless and cohesive recruitment experience.
  • Address individual concerns and provide step-by-step support to prospective students, ensuring they feel confident and informed throughout the enrolment

  • Strategic planning and leadership: Proven ability to develop and implement effective conversion strategies and action plans to optimise applicant-to-enrolment rates and drive institutional growth.
  • Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Able to effectively engage with diverse groups, including prospective students, internal teams, and external
  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage and execute recruitment campaigns with precision, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Marketing & Digital Marketing Proficiency: Strong background in leveraging digital marketing tools and strategies to drive recruitment success.
  • Analytical Skills: Skilled at identifying and analysing bottlenecks within the application process, providing actionable insights to optimise the experience for international
  • Metrics-Driven Approach: Ability to analyse and assess recruitment metrics, track campaign success, and use data to inform future strategies.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities: Adept at recognising challenges in the recruitment and conversion process and crafting innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of the Student Conversion Processes in the Tertiary Education Sector: In-depth knowledge of the academic landscape and experience working with internal faculties and service divisions to improve the student journey and conversion rate is strongly preferred.
