BrisbaneDescriptionThis is an exciting role to take the next step in their career and reshape the audit activities for a growing company in the super industry.Job specificationDevelop annual internal audit plan for Apex Superannuation EntitiesDevelop audit reports and present to management and appropriate committeesAct as liaison between external SOC auditor, Client Auditors and internal functionsManage audit findings and work with business on process improvementsMonitor adherence to and manage annual accreditation process for ISO 27001Work with business to document and update internal controlsSkills Required:Formal qualifications in a relevant field (Audit; Accounting; Business, or Finance)Membership of Professional Accounting body CPA, CA, IPAA or Membership of Institute of Internal AuditorsRG146 in Superannuation or ability to rapidly gain qualificationPrevious experience working in the Superannuation Industry and the provision of audit servicesStrong understanding of Financial Services Industry, with knowledge of key legislation and regulatory environmentAbility to work independently and as a team to successfully meet contractual requirementsAnalytical thinker with ability to comprehend legislative and regulatory requirements and assess practical implicationsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all organisational levels, including executive management and board levelsWhat you will get in return:A genuinely unique opportunity to be part of an expanding large global business;Competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience;Training and development opportunitiesAdditional information:We are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
