Job description:

• Perform risk-based audits of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and supplier/vendor management.
• Develop audit programs, checklists, and testing procedures to assess controls and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO), and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate procurement procedures (sourcing, contracting, supplier selection) for transparency and cost-effectiveness.
• Review logistics and distribution controls (shipping, customs, freight costs).
• Assess vendor/supplier compliance with contracts, quality standards, and ethical practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Present results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Track and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
