At Rabobank, we’re looking for a passionate and curious Internal Auditor to join our team and help us strengthen the way we manage risk, improve controls, and support good governance across the business.As part of our Internal Audit team you’ll play a key role in helping the bank achieve its strategic goals.   • Assisting with developing audit plans including programs & procedures.
  • Preparing audit documentation for review.
  • Analysing findings & contribute to audit conclusions by discussing audit findings with business stakeholders.
  • Producing draft audit observations & reports.
  • Monitoring progress of Audit finding & validating their closure.
  • Regularly communicating with other Audit staff regarding delivery of audits.
  • Assisting in the identification of improvement areas in the operation of the Audit team & the conduct of audit work.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and who is detail oriented, analytical, proactive, and an excellent communicator.About you:

  • 3- 5 years’ experience in operational auditing, demonstrating strong project management skills and a solid understanding of audit methods and techniques.
  • In depth general understanding of audit methodologies & requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Australia & New Zealand regulatory requirements.
  • An ability to establish, maintain & build relationships within a team & with stakeholders and able to communicate clearly & succinctly, verbally & in writing.
  • Ability to analyse & solve problems and positively influence and persuade others.
  • Exposure to use of data analytics is highly regarded.
