• Lead and manage comprehensive internal audits focused on technology risks, cybersecurity, cloud environment, data privacy, digital transformation, telecom network and IT operations.
• Collaborate with senior technology and business leaders to identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend practical improvements.
• Drive the execution of audit plans that align with Optus’s strategic objectives and evolving tech landscape.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendation to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Clearly and effectively communicate audit findings to executive stakeholders through both verbal presentations and written reports.
• Embrace Agile methodologies to efficiently deliver audits and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology audit practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in technology-focused internal audit or IT risk management, ideally within complex and regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud environment, artificial intelligence, data governance, control framework and standards (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, Agile etc)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication skill, problem solving mindset and analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, ITIL, Agile or CRISC are highly desirable.
