The role will be supporting the planning, execution and reporting of audits, including liaison with senior management of Optus and Singtel Group of companies on Internal Audit results.We are seeking an experienced Technology Auditor to join our dynamic team. This position requires solid understanding of technology audit methodology, awareness of cyber security trends with strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.Your day in the life of an Internal Audit Manager at OptusExecute comprehensive Internal Audits across systems, applications, infrastructure and operations to assess adequacy of internal controls, process efficiency and compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies. This may include overseas operations and Singtel joint-venture companies.Identify potential weaknesses in technology process and internal controls within Technology systems and processes. Effectively communicate the findings with Technical and Non-Technical stakeholders.Support the drafting of detailed audit reports focused on root causes and work with management to develop practical and value adding actions for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure and validate corrective actions are implemented and risk management strategies are effective.Stay up to date with the latest developments in technology auditing, industry standards, and regulatory changes.Provide ongoing support for Technology related audit inquiries and work with management to address emerging risks and issues.Contribute and support the continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Internal Audit process and practices.Your skills to pay the billsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Technology auditing or risk management from Big 4 accounting firms or large multi-national companies.Strong knowledge of IT/telecommunication systems, Cyber security, and compliance frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, PCI-DSS).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports and interact with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), ISO 27001, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Cloud, Agile (project management) or similar certifications preferred.Perks we love at Optus3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit!Inclusive paid parental leave, up to 14 weeks for the primary care giverAll Optus employees have access to resources, webinars and support via the ‘Parents at Work portal’Own your own growth by accessing an extensive online and facilitator led learning catalogue – even earn an MBA micro-credential via OptusU (University)Connect at work through one of our employee-led volunteer groups: Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network, Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+), United Veterans and Yarn NetworkVibrant campus life, variety of facilities including restaurants, cafes, gymnasium, GP, and post officeFree Optus bus from/to Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon!Keen to see what it’s really like to work at Optus?
