Job description: We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team with a dual focus on data analytics and IT/Cybersecurity auditing . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science and auditing, with the ability to leverage advanced analytics tools to drive insights and improve business processes. This role will focus on integrating data analytics into the audit function, enabling continuous monitoring and proactive identification of risks and opportunities, while also evaluating the cybersecurity posture and IT risks across our retail business operations. Job Description (Key Responsibilities): Continuous Audit & Data Analytics Develop, implement, and maintain continuous auditing routines and data analysis techniques to monitor operational and financial controls across the organization. Use data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Big Query, Python, Power BI, Looker Studio, ACL) to identify trends, anomalies, and control deficiencies in transactional data, inventory management, and financial reporting. Design dashboards and reporting frameworks to deliver insights and findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with audit team members to integrate data-driven methodologies into the audit planning, execution, and reporting processes. Stay current on emerging data analytics techniques, tools, and technologies and evaluate their potential application to the internal audit function. Provide training and support to internal audit staff on the use of data analytics tools and techniques. Cybersecurity & IT Audit Lead IT and cybersecurity audits to assess the design and operational effectiveness of IT controls and security measures across the company’s retail enterprise and warehouse management systems, networks, and infrastructure. Evaluate cybersecurity practices, including access controls, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive data. Assess the effectiveness of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring that the organization is prepared for potential IT disruptions or cybersecurity events. Stay current on emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, COBIT). Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or Finance & Accounting, or a related discipline. 8+ years of relevant working experience in areas spanning across analytics, with preference given to candidates with audit analytics, risk, IT general and applications controls experience. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, R, KNIME, SQL, ACL, Big Query, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar. Experienced in scripting for automated data analytics and internal control testing as well as knowledge in robotic process automation or machine learning techniques, predictive modelling, or artificial intelligence applications in auditing is added advantage. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of business process automation and robotic process automation (RPA) tools. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and controls (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001). Strong understanding of audit processes, risk management, and internal controls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
