In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting Australian industry by contributing to the delivery of safe and sustainable resources. Leveraging your technical drafting skills and hands-on experience, you’ll help improve the efficiency, safety, and productivity of our industry partners. Your work will span a variety of projects, including early-stage scoping, 3D modelling, design assessments, and direct engagement with clients. With a strong foundation in both technical knowledge and practical application, you’ll be committed to delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose outcomes across all projects.About the role:Produce detailed drafts using sound technical knowledge and industry best practicesApply quality assurance processes to maintain accuracy and consistency in drafting workConfidently interpret technical documentation, including manuals and data sheetsStay informed on relevant Australian design codes, such as AS1102, along with client-specific CAD requirementsUse markups provided by clients to perform revisions, redrafts, and updates to existing drawingsAdhere to established design templates, processes, and drafting standardsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their developmentConduct site visits when needed to strengthen client relationships and ensure continued high-quality service deliveryEssential experience:Experience in an electrical drafting or design roleFamiliarity with key Australian industries such as mining, energy, oil & gas, and chemicalsFamiliar with using AutoCAD * Someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and wants to develop their career.Preferred experience:Experience with MicroStation softwareInvolvement across the full project lifecycle—from concept development to construction phases, particularly in onsite environmentsExperience collaborating across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, civil/structural, process, and electrical teamsIf this position is of interest, please click ‘Apply’ or call Alex Taubert on 0477 588 484.
