Job description: Join our Calgary government client as an Intermediate Data Analyst on an initial 4-month contract, where you’ll support a wireless service RFP implementation project with a focus on data analysis and visualization. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior engineers, assisting in validating and cleaning up billing data for wireless services, developing interactive dashboards using PowerBI and MS SQL, and liaising with providers and business units to streamline processes. Responsibilities

  • Validate and clean up billing data for wireless service users to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting using MS SQL to support project goals.
  • Coordinate and assist in implementing and testing wireless service billing and auditing processes.
  • Collaborate with wireless service providers and clients across various business units.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation and project-related records.
  • Assist with data validation and perform additional project tasks as required.

Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, SQL databases and queries, PowerBI development, technical documentation, and PowerAutomate.
  • Advanced Excel skills with at least 10 years of expert-level experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in analyzing, reviewing, and auditing wireless rate plans.
  • Familiarity with project management processes and experience with PM documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with personnel at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in data validation and reporting.
