• Full-Time permanent role, located in Sydney or Brisbane
• Salary – $160,000 plus super and bonus
• Oversee portfolio performance and influence business direction.
• Work with key external partners to enhance product offerings.
• Lead innovation and drive business expansion across Australia & NZ.
• Work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-impact role.

Main responsibilities include:

• Manage underwriting performance across distribution channels and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and enhance insurance products, aligning them with market trends and regulatory requirements.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with external distribution partners, underwriters, and internal teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance, analysing risks and making data-driven recommendations.
• Oversee risk management and compliance, ensuring all products adhere to industry regulations.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead business case development for new products.

The ideal candidate:

• 5-7+ years’ experience in General Insurance, Underwriting, and Portfolio Management.
• Proven ability to develop and manage insurance products in the Australian market.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with external partners and underwriters.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to assess risks and improve performance.
• Travel insurance experience (preferred but not essential).
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred).
