You will work within local Country Service Unit, mainly working in large data centre projects. Provide a first-class service for the Eaton installed base products to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for testing, commissioning, fault finding/repairs & Preventative Maintenance. You will offer support to the extended EMEA Service community through high level technical knowledge and experience in the field.What you’ll do:

• Responsible for overseeing Data centre commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local country service unit.
• Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Hyperscale commissioning activities.
• Support and train Local Field Service Engineers in such activities
• Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary.
• Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required.
• Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing.
• Manage sub-contractor teams.
• Perform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained.

Qualifications:

• Installer electrical background or suitable education/qualifications
• Proven years of experience in the field focusing on Data Centres/UPS

Skills:

• Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience
• Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage
• Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution.
• Communication skills, customer Focus and flexibility
