Job description: We are looking for an Inspection & Corrosion Leader for one of our clients with the following details:Location: Muscat, Oman, with frequent visits – multi sitesStart Date: Q4 (1st November 2025)Estimated Service Duration: 12 months (renewable)Service Status: Resident (5 days per week)Qualification and Experience Required:
Education requirements: Inspection Engineer Degree from an accredited university or equivalent required for Immigration WP
Language requirements: Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required)
Professional Experience: Experience in Operational Execution and Project Development within an LNG, Oil and Gas, petrochemical or refining context
Experience in similar position (years): +15 years’ experience in inspection and corrosion (8 years in method operations and Minimum 5 years in supervisory operational position).
Experience in project is a plus.
Experienced in resource control, contract management and general management.
Description
Experienced Inspection and Corrosion Lead to join the LNG Bunkering project, which is a part of the Company transition energetic strategy.
In this crucial role, the service holder will lead all aspects of the preparation of the operational inspection and corrosion control system including the follow-up of Inspection Engineering activities of the Maintenance and Inspection Engineering activities, development of the Inspection Management system, preparation of inspection tools and ensure the technical development of the inspection department staff to be ready for First Oil, to ensure the plant’s optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
The service holder is a part of the company Maintenance & Inspection team and will report directly to the Maintenance and Inspection Manager.
This role requires a strong background in inspection and corrosion management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments
