Our government client in Winnipeg, MB is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst resource for a 24-month contract (an initial 6-month contract with an extension option of an additional 18-month) reference 29954-RFR-DTS-016. The position is preferred to be onsite in Winnipeg, MB but remote will be considered.What you will be doing:
The Infrastructure Analyst role supports the infrastructure hardware and software for the business application environment. Infrastructure support includes servers, storage, network and firewall. The requested work may include the installation, upgrade, support, monitoring, and optimization of infrastructure.Monitors, troubleshoots and optimizes infrastructure performanceIdentifies and manages enterprise infrastructure performance bottlenecksMonitors, troubleshoots and optimizes hypervisor, operating system and middleware performanceMaintains and upgrades the operating systems, software and middlewareMaintains and upgrades the firewallsMaintains and upgrades wireless access solutionsRespond to incidents and problemsAdministers patches according to Vulnerability Management StandardsPerform backups and recoveryPerforms capacity planningProvides hardware maintenance supportMakes installations on serversOversees system operationsDesigns and implements middleware software, maintenance and support requirementsDesigns and develops interoperability testing of many component productsDocuments integration and middleware solution documentationEnsures consistent use of integration of application middleware componentsDocuments infrastructure architecture and solutionsInstalls, maintains and upgrades infrastructure equipmentUsing process improvement methods to manage work and streamline processesWhat you must have:Minimum five (5) years of experience installing and supporting hardware and software infrastructure in a corporate data centre environmentMinimum three (3) years of experience supporting Windows ServerAbility to adapt to change in dynamically evolving situationsAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent customer service skillsAbility to analyze and problem solveStrong written and oral skills and ability to explain complex technical issues with stakeholders of various technical acumenFor more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
