Job description: Responsibilities: Lead Economic Analyses : Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive cost-benefit analyses for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring rigorous evaluation of economic impacts. Model Development : Create and enhance sophisticated economic models to accurately calculate and interpret economic internal rates of return (EIRR) and economic net present values (ENPV). Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough economic impact assessments to identify and quantify the potential benefits and costs associated with infrastructure initiatives. Industry Research: Perform in-depth research and analysis on industry-specific economic data, trends, and statistics to inform and support strategic decision-making processes. Report Preparation: Prepare and deliver detailed economic reports, including feasibility studies, project briefs, and presentation materials, ensuring clarity and precision. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate economic analysis into the broader financial advisory process, promoting a holistic approach to project evaluation. Policy Guidance: Provide expert insights on economic policies, regulatory impacts, and market conditions relevant to infrastructure projects, aiding clients in navigating complex economic landscapes. Quality Assurance : Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and high quality of economic models and analyses, maintaining meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Economic Expertise : Strong proficiency in economic analysis, with a proven track record of performing cost-benefit analyses, EIRR, and ENPV calculations. Analytical Skills : Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to develop, interpret, and communicate complex economic models effectively. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex economic concepts to diverse audiences, including non-experts. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in economic analysis, preferably within the infrastructure sector. Report Writing : Demonstrated capability to produce high-quality, detailed reports and presentations under time pressures, showcasing analytical rigor and clarity. Independence and Initiative : Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to successful completion without extensive oversight. Team Collaboration : Strong ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a cohesive and productive working environment.
