The company operates through two divisions, Retail Banking and Services, and Corporate and Institutional BankingPosition: Information Security AnalystLocation: Montr al QC H3A 2A6Duration: 6 MonthsJob Type: ContractWork Type: OnsiteShift: 8.00AM-5.00PMJob Description:Business Overview:The Information Security department covers the following areas: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Application Security, Third Party Security, Data Security & Cyber Defence.The Data Security team is looking to onboard a consultant for a 6-month mandate to assist with a few short-term deliverables.Candidate Success Factors:Candidates are measured on the following four performance drivers, which will dictate how individual impact is considered on the Americas platform:Results and ImpactAble to influence peers and team.Demonstrates good judgement when making decisions of high complexity and impact.Exercise appropriate autonomy in the execution and delivery of work.Responsible for driving outcomes, which have meaningful effect on team or department.Collaboration:Creates trust with colleagues.Collaborate with various teamsClient, Customer and Stakeholder Focus:Able to build relationships with a mix of colleagues and clients.Interacts regularly with management and department leaders.Compliance Culture and Conduct:Takes full responsibility for personal actions and demonstrates courage in facing problems and conflicts.Perceived as a person of high moral character; upholds corporate values and displays high ethical standards.Responsibilities:Creation and execution of a control to address issues around higher classified files in lower classified repositoriesCreation and execution of a control to address issues around untagged files in repositoriesAnalysis of Data Discovery scan resultsDocumenting and executing remediation plansFile owner reach outs to users/teams to rectify identified issues with untagged and misplaced files in various repositoriesEffective tracking and reporting on progress of assigned deliverablesMinimum Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 to 5 years of professional IT related work experienceAbility to multi-task and manage multiple work streams in parallelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood written & verbal communication skillsProficiency with MS Office ToolsUnderstanding of data classification and data handling conceptsPreferred Qualifications:degree in science or related field preferredInfo Security experienceKnowledge of scripting/automation would be beneficialTekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
